What’s my username?
You should receive your user name and temporary password in the mail after enrolling or from IT. Your username is usually formulated as: "first initial + last name + last four digits of student ID number". Example: jdoe1234.  Read more about student accounts here. 

ATTENTION STUDENT WORKERS: If you have a job on campus, you will need to use those BCNET credentials. Example: John Doe would use jdoe, not jdoe1234. 

What’s my password?
Your one-time password is "it@Brazosport + PIN", for example: it@Brazosport123456. You may reset your password here.

What is my student email address? 
The e-mail address for your BC Student e-mail account is your username@brazosport.edu (example: jdoe1234@brazosport.edu). Use the link provided to log in to your email for important announcements. You may also visit webmail.brazosport.edu to log in, or set up your phone to receive emails. The IT page has instructions located on the right side of the page under the Need Help section called Email Setup.

What can I do with myBC? 
[x] Register for classes and find out what my priority registration date is. 

[x] Pay your bill or sign up for payment plans. 

[x] Check on holds. 

[x] Get current campus information.

How to change your password if you know your current password

You can change your password with one of the three options below. For students that are new to Brazosport College, you should receive an email from the admissions office that provides you with your username and initial temporary password.

OPTION 1

1. Visit password.brazosport.edu and click the blue button that says, "Setup Security Questions." (This only applies to you if you have never setup password reset.)
2. Login using your username and current password.
3. You will then be required to enter an email address and setup 5 security questions.
4. Once you have your security questions setup, click on the red "Logout" button.
5. You will be redirected to a page where you will need to click a blue button that says, "Reset Password."
6. Enter your username.
7. You will then be asked to answer 3 of your security questions.
8. Once the questions are answered correctly, the system will then allow you to change your password. Please note that the password requirements are listed on the page.
9. Be sure to log out once you have changed your password.

OPTION 2
Visit Webmail (webmail.brazosport.edu), if your password has expired you will automatically be prompted to change your password to a new password. If you know your current password and just need to change the password, go to settings (the gear icon next to your name) on the menu bar at the top of the page. Next, select the “change password” option to change your password.

OPTION 3
Using an on-campus computer, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select the password change option. On most computers in computer labs, you can also select the password reset option in the lower left corner of the login screen.

How to change your password if you don't know your current password

1. If you previously setup password reset you can visit password.brazosport.edu
2. Enter your username.
3. You will then be asked to answer 3 of your security questions.
4. Once the questions are answered correctly, the system will then allow you to change your password. Please note that the password requirements are listed on the page.
5. If you are not able to use password reset then please contact the IT helpdesk for assistance in getting your password changed.

Please Note: You will be required to change your password every 120 days from the day that you change your password. 

Password requirements

Your password will need to comply with the following requirements:

Minimum length: 16 characters

Complexity:

1. At least one upper case character
2. At least one lower case character
3. At least one number
4. At least one special character (Examples: ! @ & *)
5. Your password must not contain your username
